Here is a song that I wrote a little while ago, it’s called ‘The Dance’. In the Northwest of England getting a ‘Ticket to the Dance’ meant that you had just been given your redundancy notice.
I’ve now been made redundant three times!
This song is dedicated to everyone who has been made redundant.
I came across this guy and thought it was an awesome song. See what you think. This is the live acoustic version, but the studio version is equally as good.
I think we will be seeing a lot more of this guy.
This Christmas we were very lucky to see ‘The Christians’. What a blast!
To everyone who thought they were good in the 80′s; they are awesome now! We had a fantastic night, with a great selection of old hits, new tracks and even the odd cover version. Each one carried out with the expertise and precision that can only come from a tight, musically superb band.
Gary Christian was an absolute joy to listen to; his voice has got even better with age. His repartee with the audience was instant and the audience loved him!
The whole night was played in a relaxed atmosphere with the band having as much fun as the audience.
2012 sees the 25th anniversary of ‘The Christians’, a new album and, hopefully, a new tour.
I will be watching their website very closley for the info. The Christians
Gary, if you read this, thank you for a great night! Don’t forget to cut the plug off that smoke machine
